Description
Venezia Giulia Chardonnay Father’s eyes 2018 di Lenardo
Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Straw yellow color with gold shadows
The nose has aromas of golden apple, banana, vanilla, locust honey and subtle smoky notes deriving from the toasting of the American oak barrels used for aging.
On the palate it is balanced with hardness and softness, with notable creaminess on one side and minerality on the other. Overall it is certainly a wine of good structure, which has the ductility of being valid both at a young age and after several years of aging.
Excellent quality / price ratio
Quality Chardonnay, which effectively accompanies foie gras, Milanese-style veal cutlet, aged cheeses, and shellfish.
Venezia Giulia Chardonnay Father’s eyes 2018 di Lenardo
di Lenardo, makes the harvest manually.
It carries out alcoholic fermentation, malolactic transformation and subsequent aging in American oak barrels.
During aging, the wine matures for three months in contact with fermentation yeast residues held in suspension with frequent batonnage.
At the end of the maturation it passes into the bottle where it completes the journey in the cellar for another 2 months.
