Produced exclusively from the Caselle vineyard, in the Caselle locality in the municipality of Cembra near the Avisio stream. The soil is of volcanic origin, therefore it presents a whole series of stratifications, where the quartz porphyry is the most present mineral. Average age of the plants: it is 17 years, while the training system is guyot.
The yield per hectare is 60 quintals.
The harvest is done manually in boxes in September with a slight over-ripening of the bunches.
When the grapes arrive in the cellar, they macerate cold in a stainless steel press for several hours. The subsequent cleaning of the must takes place by decanting. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 18 ° C.
It also refines in steel on the fermentation lees, kept in suspension with repeated batting for 6 months. Further refinement in the bottle for about 3 months.

Straw yellow color with golden hues.
The nose has sweet and persuasive aromas of sweet spices and exotic fruit. Mango and litchis in particular. Even the intense white flowers increase the overall appeal.
It is voluminous on the palate, with softness dominating the prospect. Sugar residue and creaminess give thickness, but the acidity and minerality extracted from the roots in the volcanic soil provide it with a conspicuous structure.
Very persistent, with exotic fruit aromas perceived by the nasal receptors.
Maso Cantanghel packs a Gewurztraminer of excellent workmanship, capable of rivaling on par with the most highly rated South Tyrolean.
