Description
Mont Baudile Blanc IGP Accenteur 2021 Domaine de l’Accent
Variety: 100% Marsanne
organic in transformation
Golden yellow color
The nose has copious and happy quality aromas. Original and usual, it defines notes of broom, mimosa, acacia honey and yellow peach. Spices and aromatic herbs complicate it more by broadening the picture.
On the palate it is voluminous and concrete with verticality in evidence. Maintains tension from beginning to end, juggling structure and volume. Balanced and harmonious, it is decidedly persistent with wonderful aromas of medlar, dried flowers and panna cotta.
Accenteur is a beautiful interpretation of Marsanne, conceived and desired as a pure wine with sincere aromas. What makes him think of a masterpiece in perspective are two fundamental qualities in wine: matter and cleanliness. Excellent French white wine made by an Italian.
Domaine de l’Accent, is located in the south of France in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, is a multi-storey mosaic of vineyards, Mediterranean scrub and woods. Conducted by applying the rules of organic farming, but above all of common sense.
The owner is Konrad Pixner of Bergkellerei, a prestigious winery in the Alta Val Passiria in South Tyrol.

The vineyards are planted on two very different terroirs:
– in St Guiraud, the vines are cultivated on small terraces surrounded by woods and scrub
– on the Causse de Montpeyroux, where the old vines boldly face a stony and windy terrain at an altitude of 300 m.
After the harvest, carried out manually with selection of the bunches and in small perforated boxes, it carries out the alcoholic fermentation in open containers, with the use of indigenous yeasts. It does not use enzymes and synthetic products.
After the malolactic transformation it ages for 12 months in French oak barrels of different passage and at least 4 months in the bottle
