Description
Marlborough Sauvignon 2021 Greywacke
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Stelvin cap
Pale straw yellow color with green shadows.
The nose has clear and intense aromas of grapefruit, passion fruit, white melon, elderberry and green celery. Hints of white flowers and aromatic herbs lengthen and make the olfactory prospect complex.
On the palate it stands out for its minerality and freshness, which stretch the wine towards pleasantness and drinkability. Adequate softness, for a wine that easily reaches harmony and balance. The persistence is also excellent, with aromas of white currant, citrus and spices.
Remarkable representation of Sauvignon Blanc from the Southern Hemisphere.
Marlborough Sauvignon 2021 Greywacke
Greywacke grows grapes for its Sauvignon Blanc in several valleys of the southern part of the Marlborough appellation in the central plains of Wairau, notably in Woodbourne, Renwick and Rapaura.
After the harvest, most of the mass ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers and with selected yeasts. The remaining part ferments with the help of indigenous yeasts in oak barrels.
