Description
Alto Adige Val Venosta Riesling 2020 Marinushof
Variety: Riesling Renano 100%
Straw yellow with clear green reflections.
The nose has head scents of gentle white flowers and citrus fruits. Moving the glass comes the white-fleshed fruits, peach in particular, followed by medlar. Even stone ideas in the sun. Very young, therefore not yet perceptible the notes of hydrocarbon that will distinguish it and make it unmistakable in mature age.
Slightly and pleasantly unbalanced on hardness, it has acidity and above all verticality dominate the gustatory phase. In terms of softness, we also have for this vintage an excellent creaminess and alcohol content to make the overall velvet. The almost absent sugar residue is to be considered a rarity. Persistent between aromas of mandarin, camellia and white peach.
Maso Marinushof succeeds in proposing a fabulous declination of Alto Adige riesling, full and complete. A champion.
