Valtellina Superiore Valgella Costa Bassa 2018 Sandro Fay
Variety: Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) 100%
Pale ruby red
The nose is intense and persuasive, with notes of fresh fleshy fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs. Wood notes follow, with chestnuts and leaves. Notes of rhubarb and wild berries add to the complexity.
On the palate it is well harmonized, by virtue of ripe and silky tannins, and well perceptible minerality. The volume of the sip boasts a good creaminess, for balance and satisfaction. Persistent memory with aromas of basil, blackberries and plum.
Valtellina entrance, which manages to amaze with its class and elegance. It is a perfect interpretation of Nebbiolo della Valtellina.
