Description
Valtellina Superiore Valgella Ca Morei 2018 Sandro Fay
Variety: Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) 100%
Pale ruby red with light garnet veins
The nose is elegant and at the same time intense and well diversified. The notes of rose precede, only in order of listing, those of plum and blond tobacco, aromatic herbs and undergrowth. Sweet spices broaden the range. Wood notes follow, with chestnuts and leaves and cinchona.
On the palate it is powerful and elegant at the same time. It looks like on the nose, with a virtuous structure made of lively tannins, and adequate freshness. The softness brings good creaminess to the sip, so as to extend it with pleasure. The memory it leaves is persistent, with aromas of mint, vanilla and cocoa.
Valtellina of great depth, powerful and elegant at the same time. It is a perfect interpretation of Valtellina’s Nebbiolo.
