Description
Valcalepio Rosso Riserva Colle Calvario 2013 Castello di Grumello
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 60% e Merlot 40%
Intense ruby red color, with garnet areas.
The nose is very intense, diversified and of great quality. it distributes aromas of ripe fruit, such as cherry and plum, and of withered rose and geranium flowers. The notes of toasted and those of ash anticipate those of spices. Vanilla, cocoa and aromatic herbs. Definitely fascinating both for the cleanliness and for the number and finesse of the same.
On the palate it is immense. It has great ability to convince, with Form and Substance allied in order to achieve balance and harmony. Really excellent both in the individual parts, as in the whole. The finish is very persistent between aromas of wild berries, spices and ripe fruit.
A great Lombard red wine capable of giving value to the whole denomination.
