Description
Toscana Rosso 2011 Cerbaiona
Variety: Sangiovese 60% and Merlot 40%
Intense ruby red with garnet shades
The nose does not hide and reveals its qualities, with intense aromas of wild berries, the wild blackberry in particular. Withered flowers, earth and wood, tobacco, vanilla and the ashes of the extinguished fireplace. They float naturally, free, clear and clean. Exciting is the right adjective.
If possible, on the palate it is further enhanced, by virtue of power, elegance and therefore harmony between the parts. the details are of a sustained tannic texture, but now polymerized, and therefore appreciable. Not least minerality and freshness, necessary for such a volume. It persists with continuous flavors of dried orange peel, ripe fruit, cloves and licorice.
The conclusion is that of a Tuscan red wine, which easily surpasses excellence. because it is capable of perfectly blending the two souls of the different vines.
