Description
Toscana Psyco 2017 Villa la Ripa
Variety: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Sangiovese
Charming ruby red color.
The nose has intense and intriguing aromas of various species. The fruit is followed by fluctuating herbaceous notes and pepper, then again blackberry, currant and black cherry. Wild forest notes precede the balsamic and spicy ones. Really remarkable, for workmanship and elegance.
On the palate it has weight, and structure to support it. The tannic texture is remarkable, however clean and made of gentleness rather than youthful impetuosity. It stretches with power and class between aromas of berries, aromatic herbs and flowers. The memory it leaves is persistent.
Excellent interpretation of Supertuscan from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, from the north of Tuscany. It is able to surprise and excite together.
