Description
Rosso di Montalcino 2017 Cerbaiona
Variety: Sangiovese 100%
In biological conversion.
Ruby red with a thinner line with garnet lines
The nose is clean, with excellent aromas of ripe fruit, plum and black cherry, then berries, blackberry and blueberry. Classic red rose and first hints of spice, with vanilla, cloves and even leather. The undergrowth and its facets complete a picture of great value.
In the mouth it confirms the expectations, with a rigorous structure, made of present but gentle tannins, with minerality and acidity to support the thesis. On the other hand, the alcohol content and glycerine combine to obtain a wine that is overall deep and already balanced. To the aromas felt on the nose are added aromas of tobacco and licorice.
The new property represented by Mattew Fioretti together with the oenological support of Maurizio Bovini, offer an excellent interpretation of Rosso di Montalcino, precisely because it has personality.
