Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections.
The nose has very intense, complex and fine aromas. Those of ripe fruit stand out. From plum, to wild berries, to black mulberry blackberries. Even the undergrowth with its various facets is making its way. Sensations that bring us back to roasts and spices increase the complexity in the detail and the pleasantness as a whole.
On the palate it is full-bodied and at the same time classy. Excellent texture of hardness headed by tannins. Also noteworthy is the ability to wrap the mouth giving the sensation of thickness. Once swallowed, aromas of berries and spices reach the nasal receptors.
Clear and recognizable, it is an excellent representation of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
It can be effectively combined with all grilled meats, both Florentine beef, ribs and pork sausage. Also noteworthy with wild boar stew with polenta.

Tenuta i Fauri cultivates the Rosso dei Fauri grapes in the municipality of Bucchianico in the province of Chieti, in the southernmost part of the region.
The training system is spurred cordon, with a density of 3000 plants per hectare and a yield of 100 quintals per hectare.
After the manual harvest it carries out the alcoholic fermentation with maceration in concrete containers for 10/12 days.
It carries out the malolactic transformation and subsequently refines in French oak tonneaux for 18 months.
