Description
Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva dei Mandorli 2013 Massimo Romeo
Variety: Sangiovese, Colorino e Mammolo
Organic
Garnet red
On the nose it proudly defends the peculiarities of Montepulciano wines. The aromas are intense, fine and numerously declined. The classic fruit with cherry and plum is followed by violet, and elegant balsamic notes. Aromatic herbs and spices, from sweet to spicy. Overall largely excellent.
On the palate it confirms everything intuited by the aromas. Excellent in its parts as in the sum, as in the symphony of all instruments. Volume, creaminess, tannins and drinkability are the characteristics that elevate it above its peers. The persistence is really long, between balsamic, fruit and spice aromas.
Among the wines Nobile di Montepulciano stands out for its ability to be both powerful and elegant Tuscan red wine of considerable prestige. The rebirth of Montepulciano wines starts from here.
It accompanies with excellent results all traditional Tuscan dishes, from ribollita, to aged cheeses, and to the classic grilled Fiorentina.
