Description
Mont Baudile Rouge IGP Cuvée Elliot 2020 Domaine de l’Accent
Variety: Grenache and Syrah
organic in transformation
Intense ruby red color with purple hues
On the nose it rattles off all the complexities and subtleties that Grenache and Syrah can give when they embrace each other. The aromas are of dark berries, blackberry and blueberry. Pepper and Mediterranean scrub notes flutter between tobacco and leather. And among the scents of wild berries we come to those of aromatic herbs. Intense, defined and fascinating.
On the palate it is conspicuous and well structured. Excellent dialogue between tannins, freshness and minerality. In harmony and with a deep and persistent sip. The aromas that embellish it are black pepper, raspberries, blueberries and aromatic herbs.
The Cuvée Elliot is a masterpiece of power and class, it boasts an excellent value for money and not only among French red wines,
Domaine de l’Accent, is located in the south of France in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, is a multi-storey mosaic of vineyards, Mediterranean scrub and woods. Conducted by applying the rules of organic farming, but above all of common sense.
The owner is Konrad Pixner of Bergkellerei, a prestigious winery in the Alta Val Passiria in South Tyrol.

The vineyards are planted on two very different terroirs:
– in St Guiraud, the vines are cultivated on small terraces surrounded by woods and scrub
– on the Causse de Montpeyroux, where the old vines boldly face a stony and windy terrain at an altitude of 300 m.
After the harvest, carried out manually with selection of the bunches and in small perforated boxes, it carries out the alcoholic fermentation in open containers, with the use of indigenous yeasts. It does not use enzymes and synthetic products.
After the malolactic transformation, it ages for 12 months in French oak barrels and at least 4 months in the bottle
