Bordeaux Rouge Chateâu Larroque 2015 Ducourt
Variety: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc
In 1979 Marie-Christine Ducourt, daughter of Henri Ducourt, bought this prestigious property located on the left bank, right on the border with the name Graves. The vineyard immediately replanted immediately after having bought it, has an extension of about sixty hectares. Later, Chateâu, built in 1348, was also renovated.
After the harvest, they proceed with a pre-fermentative cold maceration for a period ranging from 24 to 48 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel containers at an average temperature of 26 ° C. This is followed by a further maceration for 3 weeks at 30 ° C. After separating the wine from the marc, the malolactic transformation is induced.
Aged in oak and stainless steel vats for a minimum period of 12 months. After bottling it remains in the old cellars for at least another 12 months.

The nose has aromas of red berries, followed by almond and hazelnut, and finally a light aroma of vanilla.
