The vineyards from which the Lagrein Riserva linticlarus grapes come, are hilly in Niclara.
The soil is composed of limestone gravel from moraine sediments.
Exposure of the vineyard to the south / southeast, while the altitude varies from 230 to 250 meters above sea level.
The rearing system is Guyot pruning and the density is 6,500 vines per hectare. First year of planting: 1997.
The yield per hectare varies from 35 to 50 hectoliters.
After harvesting, carried out with care by hand, the grapes are gently rasped. The alcoholic fermentation lasts about a dozen days and takes place in stainless steel containers. In this period it must be carried out by a fulling, up to four a day. It performs malolactic transformation and refines for a period of 12 months in oak barrels, 35% new. It goes into large oak barrels for a further six months, and finally rests for another year in the bottle.

Intense ruby red color with purple shades.
The nose reveals intense and elegant hints of berries and cherries. The sweet spices follow each other, in an intriguing vortex. Very well defined, the perfumes are well made.
On the palate, tannins are distinguished by finesse and together with acidity and minerality, they paint a refined structure. To compensate, you need adequate softness, so the excellent creaminess, the warmth of the alcohol content and a light sugar residue put the wine in perfect balance. Very persistent and endowed with a long finish, where aromas of cherry in spirit and spices are manifested.
