Description
Alto Adige Lagrein Riserva 2018 Bergkellerei Passeier
Variety: Lagrein 100%
Intense ruby red color, with large garnet areas.
The nose is remarkably intense, with different punctuations of individual aromas. The notes of black cherry jam and red plum stand out. Notes of dark berries such as Blackberry anticipate the more complex ones of tobacco, undergrowth, earth, alongside the smell of ash from a dead fire. Subtle and clean perfumes, powerful and elegant, summarize the class it is equipped with.
On the palate it is voluminous and superb, with the creaminess to dictate the times, and the firm structure to set the rhythm. Symphony of a young winemaker with great interpretative skills. As the structure is drawn with a firm line on the staff, so the melody sounds graceful. This is why the texture of tannins is remarkable as is the freshness. Very long, between aromas of blueberries and spices
The young Konrad Pixner, is a passionate and refined winemaker. He manages to give personality to each wine he creates. This is because it favors its inclinations, so that Lagrein is also an exceptional wine.
