The nose is intense and qualitatively refined. Wonderful aromas of fruit and wild berries. Mushrooms and the woods. Subtle veins of aromatic herbs infiltrate the pages of an excellent novel.
On the palate it stands out even more, with class harmony and balance. Fine and subtle tannins, and widespread minerality. The elegance of the “sandy” Nebbioli is a distinctive feature of the Roero area in general and that of Vezza d’Alba in particular.
This is confirmed by the elegance of the Nebbioli of the Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero, also in Vezza d’Alba, like Valmaggiore, the Nebbiolo vineyard of the Antica Cascina is designed amphitheatrically around the cellar.
