Ruby red.
The nose has intense and clear aromas of plum, cherry and black cherry. Some berries, with blackberry in particular. Wood and spice notes are added. Intense and very well-designed, the range of perfumes is also qualitatively valid.
On the palate it is confirmed in everything. It envelops and gratifies the palate, without ever tiring it. Intense, balanced and persistent. The texture of the tannins emerges on the rest for a solid wine with a straight structure. The palate distinguishes aromas of ripe fruit and spices.
Although thought of as an immediate drinking product, it contains the secret in its scaffolding, which will give it considerable depth over time.
Langhe Nebbiolo Snart 2018 Raineri
The grapes that make up the Langhe Nebbiolo Snart are grown in various vineyards, all in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba.
Soil: the shape of the soil is sandy, with limestone and clay marl.
Exposure and altitude: south – west, while the vineyard has an average height of 400 meters above sea level.
Planting system: espalier with guyot pruning, while the plants have an average age of 35 years. The yield of grapes per hectare is 65/70 quintals.
The stalk is removed after pressing, and the must is left to macerate in a steel tank for about 8-10 days at controlled temperature (28 ° -29 ° C).
After about 2 months of malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel for about 8 months, then bottled without filtration or clarification.
The harvest is done manually, to select only the best bunches, with the use of 20kg crates.
The period, in normal climate conditions, takes place in the first part of October.
After removing the stalks before pressing the grapes, ferment successively in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 28 ° -29 ° C, for a time that varies from 8 to 10 days. Carries out malo-lactic transformation and then always refines in steel containers for 8 months.
The filtration takes place by decanting and decanting, consequently the bottling is carried out without any filtration or clarification.
At the Raineri company they practice eco-sustainable agriculture, with grassing of the soil, and defense against powdery mildew and downy mildew with copper and sulfur. No use of herbicides.
