Description
Champagne La Grande Année brut 2005 Magnum Bollinger
Variety: Pinot Noir 66% and Chardonnay 34%
In original wooden case
Bright golden yellow color
The nose has intense and copious aromas of white peach, Regina Claudia plum, medlar and bergamot. Yellow flowers color the bouquet, then black locust honey, dried fruit and freshly baked bread. The gusts of the sea are endemic traits and adorably connote the speech.
On the palate it is creamy but well structured. Excellent hardness made of very fine carbon, acidity and verticality. The softness leaves it in harmony. Very persistent between aromas of broom, yellow peach and dry pastry.
Bollinger has built his fame over time by creating a unique style. La Grande Année is a champagne that embodies the essence of that style.
