Description
Champagne La Grande Année brut 2004 Magnum Bollinger
Variety: Pinot Noir 65% and Chardonnay 35%
In original wooden case
Bright golden yellow color
The nose has intense and exuberant aromas of white peach, bergamot and mimosa. Brackish notes anticipate those of hazelnuts and almonds, croissants and sweet and gentle spices.
On the palate it is creamy and enveloping, but firm on the hardness, made of acidity and verticality. Very persistent between aromas of yellow flowers, fruit and dry pastries.
Bollinger has built his fame over time by creating a unique style. La Grande Année is a champagne that embodies the essence of that style.
