Shiny amber color
On the nose it is explicit in placing itself among the prestigious vin santo. It has very intense aromas of dried apricot dried figs, and dried fruit. Linden honey and spices further embellish it.
On the palate it is voluminous and creamy, an excellent material that gradually slips into the mouth, envelops it and caresses it. They are moments of pleasure, which are prolonged with extreme persistence, between aromas of figs and dried fruit.
Among the dessert italian wines, Vin Santo is a Tuscan excellence famous throughout the world and the Piazzano farm paints an image among the best.

The grapes come from an old vineyard where the soil is clayey rich in rocky fragments.
Plant density: the vineyard has 3200 plants per hectare, while the training system is the Tuscan overturned.
The careful selection of the grapes takes place with manual harvesting in small baskets in the first fortnight of September.
After the harvest, the grapes are left to dry on racks for about four months.
Fermentation takes place in small barrels of 50 and 100 liters assembled with different woods: oak, chestnut, cherry, mulberry and black locust. In the same it refines for over 5 years. After blending, its refinement ends for at least another year in the bottle.
