Description
Roero Arneis di Vezza d’Alba 2021 Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero
Variety: Arneis 100%
Straw yellow color with green shadows.
The nose is elegant and classy, with aromas of white flowers, such as tulip and in particular of daisy and chamomile. Golden apples, yellow peaches, and aromatic herbs on the margins. Even stretches of stone, sunny rock and graphite.
On the palate it is very mineral, but well supported by softness, so as to be balanced and fascinating. Fresh and pleasant, it stretches between persistent aromas of citrus, camellia and aromatic erne. A greedy wine, which invites you to drink one glass after another.
Overall it is a Piedmontese white wine, which deserves your attention, because it stands out among the rest of the appellation, for its finesse and depth over time.
It accompanies seafood dishes, such as wholemeal penne with squid, spring onion, camone tomato and marjoram. Excellent with raw seafood, because in addition to not covering the fineness of the fish, it enhances the flavors.
