Pale ruby red color
At the nose it’s adorably fruity, with aromas of black cherries, cherries and strawberries. The floral notes are also clean and luxuriant, before giving way to tobacco and leather. The undergrowth appears in different ways, up to the aromatic herbs. In conclusion, it is simply complex.
On the palate it has a firm structure. Freshness and minerality define its contours, while softness paints the colors. The distinctive feature is expressed in the simplicity of drinking it. It reaches balance and harmony and when it leaves the palate it is persistent, between aromas of blueberry, cherry and mint.
Ciliegiolo is a vine often used in the Chianti blend, but the Piazzano farm manages to offer a declination that is not only convincing, but among the best ever. Excellent Tuscan red wine.

The vineyards are planted with spurred cordon, with a density of 5000 plants per hectare.
Soil: it’s clayey with rocky fragments and a varied presence of skeleton.
The harvest was carried out mechanically and with selection of the grapes, in the first weeks of September
It ferments in steel tanks with the use of indigenous yeasts for a period of about three weeks, with daily pumping over.
Refine in vitrified concrete tanks for at least 12 months and after bottling for another 4/5 in the cellar.
