Deep ruby red color
The nose opens with forest fruit, blackberry and blueberry and red fruit the plum in particular. Some vegetal traits are added pianissimo, while those of the animal sphere are present in an elegant way. Spices also join the chorus, with vanilla and white pepper. The balsamic notes add charm to the already beautiful.
In the mouth it has excellent presence, with the tannic texture in evidence although already tending to grace. Powerful and elegant, its volume has an ally to contrast and rebalance such hardness. It has great prospects of evolving over time, becoming better and better. Persistent between aromas of wild berries, fruit and spices.
The Peppucci winery is a complex challenge: to face and manage the angularity of Sagrantino with class and elegance. Thus he offers us an Italian red wine with great evolutionary capabilities.
It goes beautifully with Norcia’s black truffle Strangozzi.
