Description
Cremant d’Alsace brut bio Gresser
Pinot Bianco e Riesling Renano
Biodynamic
Brilliant straw yellow color
The nose has sparkling floral aromas, with magnolia and tulip, then yellow fruit, and aromatic herbs. Some citrus and iodized notes from the sea increase the complexity and conquer the taster.
On the palate it is fresh and mineral. It envelops the palate with efficiency and creaminess, so as to have a pleasant and very drinkable sip. It lengthens with persistence between aromas of iodine, citrus fruits and mountain herbs.
Overall, it is an excellent sparkling wine fully corresponding to the territory of origin.
Cremant d’Alsace brut bio Gresser
The Domaine Gresser is located in Andlau, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, on the Alsace wine route, at the foot of Mount Sainte Odile, on hills that are prestigious for the quality of their wines and for their historical importance.
The soil where the Cremant grapes are grown is gravelly.
Age of the vineyard: the plants are over thirty years old, with a yield per hectare of 70 hectoliters.
After the harvest carried out manually, the wine is softly pressed, and the must decants cold for 36 hours. Carries out alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers.
In the following spring the refermentation begins for a minimum of 18 months.
The Gressers have been winemakers since the 16th century, and generation after generation the vineyards are cultivated with passion and dedication. Respect for the environment is a rule of life, so Rémy Gresser moved from organic to biodynamic cultivation.
Nature rewards those who respect it, and his wines, which had always been good, have now also taken on personality.
