Description
Champagne extra brut Blanc de Blancs Desir Doyard-Mahe
Variety: Chardonnay 100%
Brilliant straw yellow color.
Straw yellow color with golden reflections.
The nose is fine with notes of fruit, such as white peach, apple, yellow citrus, floral and slightly iodized. Classy, it stands out for the elegance of the profile.
On the palate it is the creaminess that prevails over the rest, relegating the Minerality to a slight supporting role. Balanced, persistent and greedy, it lengthens with persistence between iodized aromas, white flowers and citrus fruits.
Classy champagne, it impresses with its complexity and excellent drinkability.
Champagne extra brut Blanc de Blancs Desir Doyard-Mahe
The grapes are grown from Doyard-Mahé to Vertus, in the Côte de Blancs.
Soil: the soil is calcareous, chalky and rich in marine fossils, in particular the belemnites (mollusk of the secondary era)
After the harvest, it ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Refine in the same containers until the following spring. The grapes that made up the cuvée were mainly from the 2016 vintage with the addition of reserve wines.
