Red ruby red.
The nose has a fresh and vibrant set of flowers and red fruits, with red currants in splendid solos on the orchestra of others. Among the flowers are the rose and the violet, and more complex notes of English tea with bergamot. Intense, elegant and classy, the sensations it evokes are really. really fascinating.
On the palate it has infinite class, and a remarkable balance between hardness and softness. The aromas that reach the nose from the palate are of flowers, fruit and spices.
Overall it is a great wine, which will improve for many years to come.
