Friuli Isonzo Sauvignon 2016 Lis Neris
Straw yellow color.
The nose has aromas head of boxwood, tomato leaf and fruit. Whirling the wine in the glass, several others emerge: the mango and the pineapple. Then notes of white flowers and other greener ones that can remember celery.
On the palate the balance between form and substance is substantially achieved. The acidity brings a good contribution of salivation and draws it well upright. The substance can boast among its supporters of a good glycerine design and a discrete pseudo-heat from the alcoholic degree. After swallowing aromas of tomato leaf and citrus fruits, in particular rosemary grapefruit, reach the nasal receptors. The memory it leaves is persistent.
Lis Neris is a family company, admirably managed by Alvaro Pecorari.
The wines are produced exclusively with grapes coming from the vineyards of the property and from some vines grown directly in the Slovenian territory. In the vineyard the fight against pests is conducted with biological systems, and the vast majority of operations are carried out manually.
The company can boast a control of carbon dioxide emissions, and in terms of energy uses solar energy captured and transformed by its own photovoltaic systems, resulting completely self-sufficient.
