Description

Barolo di Serralunga 2013 Ettore Germano

Nebbiolo 100%

Barolo produced from the Prapò, Cerretta and Lazzarito vineyards, all in Serralunga d’Alba.

After the harvest, carried out manually, the mass undergoes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers.

Refine for 24 months in used oak barrels, with a capacity of 700 liters. After a further 18 months in the bottle, it reaches the market.

Barolo di Serralunga 2013 Ettore Germano

Garnet red color.

The nose has fresh aromas of wild berries, followed by red fruit from the stem. We can identify cherry, plum and some pomegranate grains. There is no shortage of flowers that range between the classics of the denomination such as violet and red rose.

On the palate it has splendid shape and similar substance. The hardness is headed by the young and free range tannins, as a distinctive feature of the breed Serralunga. Acidity and minerality are also present and suitably useful for the prospect. On the Substance side, we have a fair amount of softness, which now undergoes the hardness but is not a matter of time and over the years they will return to sing balance songs.
